2.5 mil self-wound polymer film is designed to
meet the stringent requirements of the Underwriters
Laboratories standards UL181. The standards and
the application are as follows: UL 181B, Closure
Systems for Use with Flexible Air Ducts and Air
Connectors; used to seal closures in flex duct and
to seal flex duct vapor retarders to duct board.
Use – UL 181BFX tape. Tape is for 181B applications only, and is not to be used for 181A applications.
